Know Dr. Erick Argueta, MD

Erick Argueta, MD, originally from Silver Spring, MD, Dr. Erick Argueta was raised in sunny Pompano Beach, FL. He realized his passion for working with his hands early in life while helping his family, who are carpenters, handymen, and painters. Dr. Erick attended the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, FL, for his Bachelor's degree in Health Administration and began working in the field as a receptionist and accounts receivable specialist for a dental office in Jacksonville, FL. During this time, Dr. Erick realized that his calling in life was to help care for patients clinically while getting the opportunity to work with his hands. He attended the University of New England in Portland, Maine, where he graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree, with a focus on Public Health. His passion for helping underserved populations was recognized by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) when he was awarded the National Health Service Corps Scholarship. Upon graduation, Dr. Erick began his career at a rural health center in Lexington, VA, serving mostly Medicaid and Medicare patients in need of dental care. Dr. Erick aims to provide the best possible care to every patient and believes every patient is unique in nature, both personally and clinically.
